Anti Wrinkle FAQs

  • We offer a personalised approach with customised units to achieve the best results for you, as each client and treatment area is unique. Here is a general guide that outlines the typical number of units for common treatment areas-

  • At Muse Injectables, we aim to make your treatment experience as comfortable as possible by working in partnership with our clients. Each injection is completed within seconds, with the sensation often described as a slight pinch. Any discomfort subsides right after the injection.

  • The longevity of anti wrinkle varies based on factors like treatment area, units used, your budget, and lifestyle factors such as exercise.

    Results start to appear within 3- 14 days, with the full effect peaking at 4- 8 weeks with the effect gradually fading from there onward. We recommend scheduling anti-wrinkle treatments every 3- 4 months for best results.

  • Yes, both are safe. With over 20 years of extensive research, there are currently no reported long-term side effects or complications associated with its use.

  • Botox® is a safe and effective treatment with minimal side effects. You may experience minor side effects such as mild bruising, redness, or a mild headache after the treatment. These are typically temporary and resolve over a short period of time.

  • At Muse, due to limited research globally, it's still uncertain whether the medication used in treatments is transferred through breast milk or affects an unborn baby during pregnancy. For this reason, we do not offer anti-wrinkle treatments to pregnant or breastfeeding women

Profhilo FAQs

  • At Muse, we offer Profhilo® treatments for your face and/or neck—a bio-stimulator made from Hyaluronic Acid. This treatment involves injections just beneath the skin's surface, stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin. It enhances skin hydration, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and improves skin tone and firmness. Profhilo® contains one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid available in the injectables market.

    Profhilo® does not add volume, like dermal fillers. Profhilo® is a very quick and convenient treatment with almost no downtime.

    - Increase skin firmness and skin elasticity

  • We recommend a series of 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart. Optimal results become visible around 4 weeks post your second/last session, with the entire procedure requiring just 15 minutes. You may need top-up and maintenance sessions every 6-12 months to further enhance its effects. Results do vary.

  • Profhilo® is a safe and effective treatment with minimal side effects. You may experience minor effects such as slight bruising, redness, swelling, hypersensitivity, or temporary lumps and bumps after the procedure. These effects are temporary and usually resolve quickly.

    Though rare, other potential side effects include hardening at the injection site, infection, allergic reactions, or vascular compromise.
